New England Family Support Service (NEFSS) is a non-government, not for profit organisation that assists all families with dependent children. NEFSS has programs funded by the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ), the Department of Social Services (DSS), the Attorney-General’s Department, The Brotherhood of St. Laurence and by the Mazda Foundation.
The NEFSS staff work with families and individuals across our programs to achieve goals such as:
- Family capacity building
- Gaining further parenting skills
- Improving Self esteem
- Providing information, advice, and referral to a range of specialist services
- Obtaining information on education, drug, alcohol or legal issues
- Improving social connections
